Tell your Electeds: We need infrastructure funding!

The federal government has placed a freeze on funding from the bipartisan infrastructure bill-that's billions of federal dollars in transportation funding that goes to maintaining our roads, bridges, and transit infrastructure- now in jeopardy. Ohio alone faces losing out on nearly $800 million in funding.

Whether workers build physical infrastructure or are part of the transit vehicle manufacturing supply chain (Ohio is #2 in the nation!), we know these cuts would divest from communities nationwide at a time when we need to repair, and more and more frequently, rebuild from the various stresses and strains of an increasingly volatile climate. These stresses and strains are impacting every Ohio community and exacerbating economic, social, and mobility hurdles and barriers for those most vulnerable.

In Ohio, we have, do, and will fund transit at the local level. But we need our electeds to do their part- that means fully funding transit and our infrastructure at the state and federal levels.
